Matt's Visit in July

We were so lucky to have MATT, Cole's brother from N.Y. Come to see us this summer! JUDE LOVED him! Cole was working most of the time so it was fun to really spend time with Matt, and for Matt to spend time with Jude! OF COURSE, we jammed as much as we could in the time he was here!

MY Birthday 7.26.10

This year was my GOLDEN birthday! I turned 26 on the 26th! It was such a perfect day! The night before Jackie took me out because Cole was out of town. Jackie and I went to Toy Story 3, A Romantic dinner (seriously it was so funny they put us in the romantic area of this restaurant with candles everywhere) Anyway we had a blast together. Then the next morning she came over early so we could go out to breakfast, Cole wasn't suppose to be home until noon. Well Cole surprised me so we all went to our favorite little cafe down the street.

Then Ryan and Johanna came over to take care of Jude for the DAY!! Cole took me to SIX FLAGS....yep, I love those places! Cole and I had SOOO much fun together, I seriously love when we get time together! (pics on my phone)

THEN Arlene had a little slumber party for me at her AWESOME retro building! It was a blast!! We seriously did not get ANY sleep! I think we went to bed at 4 and woke up at 7...ugh! Oh well, that is what a slumber party is! Anyway THANKS to all the wonderful people in my life, I had an amazing birthday!!

Utah in July

Again I know these are super late, but it's for my own "Journal" reasons for why I have to go back and move forward!!!


It was so fun in July we were able to go as a family to a big family reunion. Megan came from Italy, with little Pete, as well as Pasquale coming for a few days, Ruth came from Texas, Renae and family came form North Carolina, and my little family from Cali...(well not from, just currently living, we will not claim being from here)

Anyway we did SOOOOO much while we were in Utah, it was actually a little crazy! But of course SO MUCH FUN!!!

Elisha's Visit

Again, so blessed to have so many visitors!! Over the summer one of my best friends came to visit me for a long weekend (really short actually) Elisha came all the way from North Carolina! It was SOOOOOOOOO therapeutic for both of us. It was suppose to be while Cole was out of town but worked out that he was in town. Well it ended up being for the best! Cole is such an amazing hubby, he let me have a day "off" and Elisha and I had the whole day all to ourselves!! We started off going to the beach all day, then a pedicure, then dinner at one of my fav cafe, THEN a babysitter came over so we could go to one of Cole's shows (with Jackie)! We were exhausted! Besides all of those fun things, we went shopping....and more shopping! I love you ELI!! Come back again soon!!!!

One of Jude's best friends is Sabastian, he is such an easy going kid. We love him. Over the summer we were able to go over to his house and play in his pool and splash table, while the mom's would drink diet coke, sit in the shade and munch on cheetos (before I found out my stupid allergy) and of course watch the cute little munchkins.
I know it is October now, but I am doing all my catch up blogging this month!!! So keep watching for some more fun summer fun!

Rachael's Visit in June

I know this is all the back in June, but hopefully I can somewhat catch up so I can actually post all my cute pumpkin patch pics this month!!


The one good thing about having a husband gone ALL of the time is all the many people that love us and come spend time with us!! I am so lucky to have such amazing people in our life! Jude, of course LOVES it too!

My sister Rachael, was able to come out and brought one of her two cute boys with her. Josh, who is 5 years old is SUCH a big boy cousin for Jude. They are both OBSESSED with each other. Every Since Jude was in my tummy, Josh always would talk about Jude, and how much he loves him. Well I guess someone was listening in their, cause now they seriously do not get enough of each other!

We had a blast with them, and were so sad to say goodbye! We went to the ZOO, the beach, Swimming....and it's been so long I can't think what else we did! I do know that it was (as always) non stop fun!

We love you Josh and Rach!!

So I know I have been Horrible about blogging! Every time I think about it I just get overwhelmed because I have SO MUCH to blog about! SO I keep putting it off, I don't know why I wont learn that the longer I put it off the bigger my pile will get!!

We had such a fun summer here in LA! We had so many visitors that I need to post, so many fun friends for Jude Bug, and enjoying all the free things here too! A girls trip in St. George, Lake Powell trip of Cole and Jude, (still need pics from that), Vegas trip with some close friends,a baby shower that was enchanting like a wedding, and so MUCH more, do you see how this is overwhelming?? It's okay I am not going to complain, that is my new goal, stop complaining and just embrace life! If I start on it now, then I could use it as a 2011 goal.

Anyway so I am starting back in the blogging life with one foot in, and hopefully I can get to do it more often, like my goal for October is FOUR post, this is post #1.

JUDE"S QUACKY DAY

Yesterday, October 14th Jude went down for his nap a little earlier than usual, so he woke up a little earlier than usual. Perfect for feeding the ducks in the afternoon. This certain park is only open Wedn.-Sat. 9-5pm, so we have to start heading over there by 3:30 so we can have a good hour of fun! AND FUN IT WAS! I love this age of Jude he is so FUNNY, and he thinks so too! He knows when he is in trouble, he starts laughing and running away from me!! Anyway he LOVED the ducks, birds, and Geese! We feed them my old gluten free bread, my poor family, I didn't even realize we were out of bread, cause I don't eat it. So we just had some old gluten free stuff. The birds loved it!!! Jude would throw the bread and just laugh and laugh when they would eat it all up, it got to the point of claustrophobia for me, the birds that were on our side of the fence were getting a little too close for comfort. Anyway, we ran out of the bread so I bought a bag of bird food there (for 25cents) and thought Jude would know to throw it like the bread....this is what happened.....





as you can see the goose took a bite of Jude's finger. It didn't hurt him, just scared him, but I was so mean, I couldn't stop laughing, sorry but it was funny how it all went down.

No worries, we washed our hands and got over quickly!

We had such a fun time together, it seems like we are mostly with other people, so I do love when we can go do things just the two of us!! I can't wait until we can go again!
