Fun Facts

I think that I have one of the funniest little boys!! He is developing his little personality so much. Right now I am in what you call the "calm before the storm." We are sleep training Jude right now and it is so sad and hard. I can't believe he is old enough for this! But the book said 8 to 16 weeks is prime and sooner is better then later! So why I am waiting for him to start crying at any time...I really should be putting good thoughts out to the universe. So what i meant is...before his FIVE hour sleep period, I thought I would write a few fun facts about JUDE!!

1. He is a cuddle bug, I think that might be why it is so hard to have him sleep in his own crib..he loves to be held! The first day at the hospital is when it started..he would start to get fussy and if you just put your hand on him, he would be just fine! 

2. He thinks he can walk. If you sit down when he doesn't want you to, he will literally stand up on you and talk to you..i think he is saying "STAND UP, cause i can't yet!"

3. He really is so strong! He can hold his head up already and if you are not careful he will head butt you!

4. Loves to learn..he is always looking around, loves to be talked to, talk back, stares at EVERYTHING!!

5. He thinks he is so funny..he laughs at himself all of the time! He thinks that it is really funny when he is laying on my legs and kicks me..i'll say "ouch" and he will laugh and laugh and laugh.

6.I am so scared that he is having a little bit of OCD..he would get that from me. He likes things a certain way..like his hands have to be out of his blanket no matter what. The other day I tried to wrap him up extra tight and he still managed to get his little fingers up and out..it was so funny.

I am so blessed to have such a GREAT baby, he makes being a mother so fun! I love him so much!!

FUNNY FACES

So Jude is 7 weeks now, and he gets more and more fun every day! He has started to do funny faces...smiles, laughs, and all sorts of fun things. He is the cutest thing I have ever seen!! I love him so much! He is a true Barnson with his tongue always sticking out!

Blessings

The other night I was laying in bed and I looked over to see Cole dancing with Jude. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who loves to be a dad! He is great at it. I have such a beautiful little family, I could not imagine my life any different. It is close to perfect! Last tuesday Jude wasn't feeling very good so Cole gave him a blessing..that was the first night Jude slept FOUR hours!! And the next day he was doing much better. 

We are blessing Jude the first sunday in March, for those of you who would like to come you are more then welcome to. It is at 1:00 and we are having a brunch at our house at 11 (before the blessing) 

This picture of me and Jude is with our long pajamas. Cole gave me these for a christmas present, I was so excited! I think that they are so funny and cute. I was planning on just taking a picture with them but I ended up sleeping with them too! They where so warm! 

Anyway I love my little guy...he is more and more cute everyday! 

Saying goodbyes

We where so lucky to have so many loved ones here at once: We had to say goodbye to Becky and Brynn as they move to Flordia, Renae and family as they go back to North Carolina, Elisha came to see little Jude from Roosevelt, Abby all the way from Seattle, and Ruth (Jude's second Mommy for a while, seriously I owe her big time) as she heads to Texas!! Soooo fun to have everyone here, but so sad when we have to say goodbye. Maybe one day we will have our own little adventure! Thanks everyone for stopping by to see us!
