California!!

I know, I know! Sorry it takes a while to get situated!! So at first I hated it. Sad to say. But each day I could feel myself liking it more and more. And I can now say I love it! I really do. Here are the possitives: My Husband is easily the most attractive, intelligent, sweet , out going, strong, creative, ( That last sentence Cole wrote...while I was in the bathroom..so funny i thought i would keep it) Anyway

I have my own house, own space and my way of decorating it however i want! That has been so fun for me! The ward is Awesome!!! Napoleon Dynamite is in my ward...no lie! His name is John Heater, his wife Kirsten and his daughter Evan. He has a twin Dan and his wife Sarah...who i love already ( so nice.) Both of the girls are pregnant and I went to Kirstens baby shower the other day. Everyone is so nice. Honestly I have never had a ward like this one...they are so welcoming to everyone. Everybody said that the church is different out of Utah...so i think I am starting to see some of that!

The beach is thirty min away! We went to the beach last week and it was kind of cold so we will have to go again when it is warmer. It was still fun. I didn't get in the water. All of the boys did though. My mom has been out here a couple of times. She works for the airlines so she can just hop on a plane. It has been so fun. She took us grocery shopping and shopping at babies r us for Jude. So nice!! Thanks mom!! And then we went to Ralphs (smiths) a few girls in the ward told me to shop at this one in Stuido City because it is so much nicer then the one I was going to. Anyway they said that there is celebrities everywhere..this is true. I saw a couple of them...would not know the name..but you could tell that they were famous! 

Cole got two part time jobs. I still haven't looked to be honest with you...things kind of got a little crazy for a while..and we didn't have internet! The goal this week is for me to find one..wish me luck!

The burbank airport is only ten min away and the LA airport is only thirty min away..so feel free to come and visit! We have a comfy blow up bed and a big area for you to stay in...the front room :) I miss Utah so much and my friends and family...but surprisinly I am happy here and Cole and I have a wonderful relationship ....maybe poor and struggling helps us get closer!!   Here are some pics at the beach (right before Cole lost his wedding ring :(

Last week we went to LA to find a place to live (again). We finally had good luck!! We found a beautiful home built in the 50's. It is small but super cute. 2 bedrooms, little kitchen, big common area, and small bathroom. I can't wait to decorate it!! It seems to be in a safe neighborhood too! There is a guest loft...2 of the band members will live there. And a HUGE backyard...well not really a yard but big enough to park "The Bus" and set up a pool for Jude, washer and dryer, hammock, lawn chairs, and patio set....I am already planning ;)  Also last week my phone just broke out of no where...it could have been all of the times that it dropped?! Don't worry I am FINALLY going to get a new one tomorrow. Here are some cute pics of the place.

Our road trip: wednesday night to Vegas, Leave Jude with grandparents friday morning, drive to LA, look for a house, found one but Realtor out of town, drive back to Vegas (miss Jude & nothing to do for 2 days), spend time in Vegas, Cole & his dad drive to LA to sign on papers monday afternoon, Cole's mom and me drive to Cedar City monday night to see my sweet neice and wait for Cole, Tuesday Cole drives back to Cedar to pick me up and we drive home!! Poor Jude, He hates the car!!

The Zoo

This is a few weeks late but i thought these pictures where so cute that they had to be posted! It was a wonderful thursday that Cole and i got to tend ( we just learned that this is the correct wording for babysit) our adorable nephew Josh, he is almost 4. Cole decided to take the day off {the life we live ;)} So we took Jude and Josh to the ZOO!! We had so much fun. It was kind of nice that we didn't have to rush for anything. I am the kind of person that has to have everything situated..and I think thats also why I had such a good time, i could stop and do whatever I needed to do. Anyway the boys did so good! Jude still took his nap in the stroller when it was nap time..that boy is sooo schedule oriented...and Josh would hold our hand and be so patient with everyone!! Cole took Josh to ride the carousel and the boy that worked there asked Cole "Are you in Kid Theodore?" I swear my husband is becoming famous before my eyes! Once we where at this little bistro place..brand new...and a little girl came up to us and asked Cole if he was in kid theodore as well. Then she went on to tell us that she saw him at this show..i forgot what it was called but it was outside and a big event. Anyway she told us that his show was the best part of the whole night. She was so cute..must have been only 12. Anyway my point is that it is so weird that people know him already!! Yeah Kid Theodore!
