Happy Holidays!! A quick update from the barnsons:


COLE
*Kid Theodore is doing really good, they always have somebody come up to them after a show wanting to be a part of the band or help them in any way they can. They are currently working with a new manger and she seems to be holding up her end of the deal :) They recently recording a fun Christmas song "Halloween for Christmas" and it is very catchy! Cole actually wrote the song a couple of years ago, so it's about time they did something with it!! He still is working a couple of part time jobs but to live in California you need more then that, so we are working that out right now?! Heavenly Father is always blessing us, because honestly I don't know how we have survived this long (financially) Good thing we pay our tithing!

BEKAH
* I just applied for an apartment management job, so we could live for "free rent" so hopefully we get that, I am sure it will keep me very busy:) I love being a mom, Jude is such a fun little boy. It is so fun seeing his cute little personality grow and grow. LA really has so many fun things to do here, and alot of them are free :) He has fun play dates with a little boy named Evan, he is only a month older...I just realized that I am going off on Jude on my little paragraph...I guess that's a mom thing! I am still going to Utah to work every five weeks..that is working out really well, It's so fun to see familiar faces:)

JUDE
*Jude is soooo fun. He is: almost walking (loves his walker), saying "mama, dada, baba and tutu(my mom)"...and saying it at the appropriate times. He LOVES his binky...I keep trying to not give it to him unless in the car or in bed! He knows how to sign "please" He is so cute when he does it, he knows to do it right after we pray. We say "amen" and he automatically does it, it so CUTE. Right now he is mad at me cause I stopped pushing him on his Hippo. His hippo is his walker, and it cleans up toys. Anyway if he stands in it like one of those things from "Mall Cop" he likes to go for a ride. So funny. He knows how to get his way..scream or yell Mama. LOVES to dance and anything to do with music, he gets that from his father. What else....He is into everything, and when we say "No No" he just shakes his head! Loves when Brandon or Gardner come over. He loves to kick the ball, catch and throw the ball. Loves my make up. He copies everything I do, takes the make up brush and brushes his face, I don't think Cole knows that one :) Brushes his teeth just like me, the other day Cole was wiping a mess up and left the towel there so Jude went over to help clean too. He is so fun and cute. The only thing I can complain about is he has been doing waking in the middle of the night for no reason, he is almost one, what is that about??


I hope everyone is having so much fun this season, It's so weird not having snow! I left all SIX bins of Christmas decor in Utah, I am pretty sad about it!

Changing the World, one girl at a time

I can't believe it has been OVER a month since I last posted! So much has happened and a MILLION pics need to be posted! But that will have to wait. I feel a little overwhelmed lately with everything. I don't know if it is the season, being poor, living out of state or if it is because I watch Oprah as much as possible (it's during Jude's nap time..I planned that :) I have really felt motivated to do something more for the world. WOW, I know that sounds so big but when you watch this clip it really isn't. I can't believe how niave I have been. There are so many things going on in our world that I just usually turn my head on. I figure if I don't know it then it's better that way. I was wrong. The more we can do for others the better this world can be. I know I am a little bit of a nerd but I really have been so close to God lately that I felt I should share this. This is from Oprah, of course, I hope it touches you as much as it touched me. We really don't have any money right now but I think we can come up with $7.00 a month. $7.00 a month can supply a set of school books for one girl!

October Fest

October was such a fun month!! Here is what we have been up to! I am sooo happy that our internet is finally working and I finally got my charger for my camera back, with those two things prepare yourself for ALOT of pics, hope this makes up for not posting much this month!

Just because

Jude is sporting his new "Kid Theodore" shirt that my cute friend made out of a bigger one, he is wearing it in alot of these pics :)

Becky and I took Brynn and Jude to Gardner Village when we where in UT. It was freezing! We had a ton of fun looking at the witches and pumpkins and eating a yummy lunch together. Jude was so content in his stroller (not always the case) I think because it was so cold he didn't want to move. Good thing his outfit was so warm!




Kjirsten's baby Hudson got blessed in Utah while I was there too. I was so happy to be able to go. Cole was going to meet me there but wasn't able to but he made it up with a Dooney and Burke purse...of course he was forgiven quickly :) We had hook ups for the purse! Jude loves little girls, he was so happy to kiss Ella and Sadie (the cute girls in the pics)

Circleville, Utah. Where? Southern Utah. Cole's families Ranch is there. Great Grandma Louise and I took Jude out to see the horses while daddy was gone ALL day moving the cows over the mountain on horse back! You can imagine Cole was sooo sore the next day, especially because he hadn't been on a horse for a while. Jude was so funny with the horses, he only would touch them if his gloves where on. I love this first pic, it's such a cute face, a typical Jude face. He thinks he is so funny!



Vegas. We figured we should stop in Vegas on our way home to see the family. Jude loves piggy back rides with his daddy. It was also Cole's mom's Bday this month so we celebrated with them. Jude is the only grandson on Cole's side of the family, you can imagine how much Grandpa LOVES him :)



Back in Cali. My friend Hillary and I went to go to a story time with our kids, she ended up going to the wrong place :) So we went for Ice Cream afterwards. Jude loved story time but I think he liked the Ice Cream much more! He was SOO funny with it, he attacked it several times! Aren't her kids so cute!


Griffith Park. Arlene, Johanna, Jude, and I went up to see the "Hollywood" sign, take pics, see the beautiful view of the city and have some fun. Johanna took the two pics, she is so good. It makes me want to go take a photography class. I think this pic of Pregnant Arlene is awesome ( I hope you don't care that I put this on Arlene) This is just a few days before she had her baby!

I know this is so selfish. But I just have to say I bought these leather pants as a JR in high school. EIGHT years ago. Yeah baby they still fit!!! It made my night!

My first apple pie and one of the three batches of pumpkin choc chip cookies I made this week! This apple pie was SOO good. It is my mom's recipe and it was yummy!

Halloween for Christmas

I hope everyone is having a fun Halloween today! We are all sick in the house :( After the Doc said Jude seems like he has the Swine Flu, the test came back negative!! Thanks for all the prayers!

We just had Pumpkin Choc Chip Cookies, my THIRD batch this week! Jude LOVED it!
